The Keepers brings together a constellation of sculptural figures inspired by mythology, foundational narratives and metamorphosis.
Sophia the doe, Callisto the bear, Anoukis the she-wolf, Themis the wild child, and the Hares who know the way back to oneself belong to that ancient family of figures that inhabit myths, folktales and dreams.
Neither entirely human nor entirely animal, these hybrid presences embody forces, qualities and stages of an inner journey. Wisdom, protection, metamorphosis, knowledge and reconciliation with oneself take the form of creatures that are at once familiar and mysterious.
Through them, Laurence Le Constant creates a personal mythology in which the boundaries between species dissolve, revealing what connects all living beings: their capacity for transformation.
ANOUKIS
Guardian of living waters
Inspired by the ancient Egyptian goddess of the waters, Anoukis watches over the invisible boundaries between worlds. A protective she-wolf, she possesses the gift of reading the secrets hidden within human hearts.
Guardian of living waters and forgotten knowledge, she stands at the threshold between the seen and the unseen, guiding those who are willing to listen.

THEMIS
Guardian of Balance
To create Themis, Laurence Le Constant drew inspiration from the Flores Man, a human species discovered in 2003 on the Indonesian island of Flores. According to local legends, this being possessed extraordinary strength and supernatural abilities.
By merging with the animals whose qualities she seeks to acquire, Themis becomes a hybrid figure where human, animal and myth converge. Guardian of order and balance, she moves across the boundaries between worlds and reveals the deep connections that unite all living beings.

Keeper of the Passage
Inspired by the White Rabbit imagined by Lewis Carroll, Pacome is the one who opens the door to the unexpected. A messenger between worlds, he invites us to leave familiar paths behind and venture into territories where ordinary rules no longer apply.
Guide to metamorphosis and imagination, he reminds us that every discovery begins with curiosity and the courage to step into the unknown.

SOPHIA
Wisdom
Sophia embodies an ancient wisdom born from listening to the living world. Her doe-like form seems animated by a fluid and continuous movement in which matter transforms into breath and light.
Peaceful and attentive, she invites us to reconnect with a more subtle perception of the world. A figure of intuition and inner knowledge, she reveals the invisible bonds that unite human beings, nature and mystery.

CALLISTO
Guardian of the Constellations
Drawn from the Greek myth of Callisto, the nymph transformed into a bear and later raised among the stars, this figure speaks of exile, resilience and rebirth. Suspended between human and animal, earth and constellation, she watches over the memory of those whose transformations have led them toward a new destiny.
