Gisèle is one of the seven unique wearable artworks that compose Les Oiseaux du Paradis, the inaugural collection of Maison Laurence Le Constant.
Conceived and designed by Laurence Le Constant, the shoe was developed from her original drawings before being transformed through hand embroidery, featherwork and the integration of green jade stones.
Associated with the Heart Chakra, jade has long been regarded as a stone of protection, harmony and inner balance. Combined with featherwork, it becomes the symbolic core of a piece exploring gentleness, intuition and emotional transformation.
Situated between sculpture, adornment and poetic narrative, Gisèle reflects Laurence Le Constant's ongoing exploration of beauty as a vehicle for imagination, symbolism and inner experience.
