ZÉLIE

Les Oiseaux du Paradis, 2025

Zélie is one of the seven unique wearable artworks that compose Les Oiseaux du Paradis, the inaugural collection of Maison Laurence Le Constant.

Conceived and designed by Laurence Le Constant, the shoe was developed from her original drawings before being transformed through hand embroidery, featherwork and the integration of Botswana agate and ametrine.

Combining the stabilizing qualities of Botswana agate with the luminous energy of ametrine, Zélie explores the delicate balance between grounding and elevation. The softness of the feathers reinforces this dialogue, creating a work that evokes harmony, protection and inner transformation.

Traditionally associated with joy, abundance and emotional security, Botswana agate encourages clarity of mind and confidence in one's path. Ametrine, born from the union of amethyst and citrine, is regarded as a stone of serenity, awareness and creative energy.

Together, these stones form the symbolic heart of a creation dedicated to balance, spiritual growth and the cultivation of inner peace.

Situated between sculpture, adornment and poetic narrative, Zélie reflects Laurence Le Constant's exploration of beauty as a vehicle for symbolic and emotional experience.
