LAURENCE LE CONSTANT
PRUNE
Les Oiseaux du Paradis, 2025
Prune is one of the seven unique wearable artworks that compose Les Oiseaux du Paradis, the inaugural collection of Maison Laurence Le Constant.
Conceived and designed by Laurence Le Constant, the shoe was developed from her original drawings before being transformed through hand embroidery, featherwork and the integration of aventurine and aquamarine stones.
Bringing together the gentle energy of aventurine and the luminous clarity of aquamarine, Prune explores the relationship between emotional balance and self-expression. The delicate featherwork reinforces this sense of lightness, creating a work that evokes serenity, confidence and inner flow.
Traditionally associated with harmony and emotional calm, aventurine encourages optimism and the ability to move through life with confidence. Aquamarine, with its ocean-blue tones, is regarded as a stone of clarity and communication, helping to calm doubts and illuminate one's path.
Together, these stones become the symbolic heart of a creation dedicated to trust, clarity and the quiet strength that emerges from inner peace.
Situated between sculpture, adornment and poetic narrative, Prune reflects Laurence Le Constant's exploration of beauty as a vehicle for emotional and symbolic transformation.
Aventurine & Aquamarine
In the gentle clarity of aventurine lies harmony.
Traditionally associated with emotional balance and optimism, it soothes the mind and encourages confidence.
Aquamarine, with its ocean-blue light, is regarded as a stone of clarity and communication. It helps illuminate thoughts, calm doubts and support authentic expression.
Together, these stones create a precious alliance between serenity and clarity, guiding the wearer toward inner harmony and self-confidence.
