Anita is one of the seven unique wearable artworks that compose Les Oiseaux du Paradis, the inaugural collection of Maison Laurence Le Constant.
Conceived and designed by Laurence Le Constant, the shoe was developed from her original drawings before being transformed through hand embroidery, featherwork and the integration of ametrine stones.
Born from the rare union of amethyst and citrine, ametrine embodies the meeting of serenity and vitality. Associated with the Crown Chakra, the Third Eye and the Solar Plexus, it is traditionally regarded as a stone that supports clarity, balance and inner energy.
Combined with featherwork, ametrine becomes the symbolic heart of a creation exploring transformation, intuition and the harmonious dialogue between body and spirit. Situated between sculpture, adornment and poetic narrative, Anita reflects Laurence Le Constant's ongoing exploration of symbolic materials and their ability to transform an object into a meaningful presence.
